Travel Shoe Bags
Here is a great idea for your future travels. I made this travel shoe bag last summer for a family trip through Ireland. It’s a great way to travel with dirty shoes and make sure the rest of your suitcase doesn’t get ruined.

You’ll Need:
- fabric
- ribbon
- thread
- sewing pins
- sewing machine (optional)
- stencil for shoe bag

The first step is cutting out a stencil for the shoe bag. Make sure It will be big enough to hold your shoe. Then with the sewing pins secure the stencil on the fabric. Once you have secured the stencil cut out the fabric. You will need two sides of the bag so make sure you cut out two pieces of fabric. By making one shoe bag it will hold one shoe so your going to need to make two shoe bags for a pair of shoes.

Here is what the two panels for the travel shoe bag should look like.

Next flip the panels over so you are looking at the back of the fabric. Then either with a sewing machine or by hand sew the two pieces together.

Then at the top of the bag fold over the top and place a ribbon in between the fold. Now sew the top of the bag with the ribbon in the fold.

Continue sewing the bag just like the other side. It’s going to look like your sewing the bag inside out. Once you are all done sewing flip the bag right side in and get ready for your next big adventure. Enjoy and safe travels!
